(Biography)

Executive Director of the B.A.A. and former Director of the Boston Marathon

Engineered a long-term, major commitment with John Hancock Financial Services, which was unprecedented in both scope and length of commitment in the world of sponsorship.

Played an integral role in enabling the Boston Marathon to regain its stature as the world’s premiere running event

Developed a flourishing community outreach program that enables the B.A.A. to offer significant assistance to a variety of audiences

Gradually developed a now flourishing community outreach program that has enabled the B.A.A. to offer tremendous assistance to a variety of audiences

Most prominent is the two-fold charity program, in which a number of regional charitable organizations are allowed to use the Boston Marathon as a fund-raising enterprise

Oversees the B.A.A. Half Marathon in the fall, the most recent addition to the B.A.A. events schedule

Strives to introduce and encourage the sport of running in the lives of Boston area youths

Graduated in 1974 from Northeastern University
